In addition to a generous paid time off policy, the company provides life, long term disability and employee assistance program at no cost to the employee and also makes a significant contribution toward the cost of medical coverage and health savings account option. Dental, vision, supplemental life and short term disability are also available at group rates. In addition, the Company offers medical and dependent care Flexible Spending Accounts. All plans are available to full time employees regularly scheduled to work at least 32 hours per week. Health benefits are effective the first of the month following 60 days of employment.
- PAID TIME OFF—ESA believes it is in the best interest of the Company and its employees to provide a reasonable amount of paid time away from work for rest and relaxation, observing special holidays and recuperating from occasional illness. Accrual rates, holidays, and other features of our Paid Time Off policy may vary among schools due to special circumstances, such as annually designated school schedules. For this reason, details of paid leave benefits are provided by the individual work sites.

One is a traditional low deductible, office visit co-pay plan and the other is a high deductible health plan with a health savings account to which ESA makes a significant contribution. The PPO plans are available for all eligible employees and their dependents. An HMO option is also offered in specific regional markets. Voluntary dental and vision plans are also available for employees and their dependents.
- INCOME PROTECTION—the Company provides group term life insurance and long term disability at no cost to all eligible employees. Voluntary short term disability is also available.
- SUPPLEMENTAL INSURANCE—eligible employees may purchase additional term life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance for themselves and their spouse and/or children at low group rates to enhance and customize their ESA benefits package.
- SECTION 125 PLAN—the Company offers all eligible employees the opportunity to enhance their earnings by participating in the Company’s Section 125 Plan. This plan allows employees to pay a portion of their insurance premiums on a pre-tax basis. In addition, ESA offers Dependent Care, Medical Flexible Spending, and/or Health Savings Account.
- 401(k)PROFIT SHARING PLAN AND TRUST—ESA provides all employees the opportunity to participate in the Company’s 401(k) plan.
