Educational Services of America is currently seeking qualified candidates to fill three Outreach Coordinator positions for its College Living Experience (CLE) division. CLE is a unique program specifically designed to complement a post-secondary education and independent living experience to help students with learning disabilities transition into a life full of opportunity, independence and success. Our students range from low average to gifted IQs with diagnoses such as ADD, LD, NLD and autism spectrum disorders like Asperger’s Syndrome and high-functioning autism. CLE focuses on academics, independent-living skills, and social skills to provide our students with the help they need to complete college or vocational school, and to become competent and responsible adults who are able to control their own lives.

General Summary of the Job:
Reporting directly to the division’s Senior Vice President of Operations, the Outreach Coordinator is primarily responsible for:
  • Increasing enrollment by exploring, developing, evaluating and prioritizing student recruitment leads;
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with referral sources; and
  • Promoting brand name recognition and national growth of CLE by participating in conferences, parent meetings, high school and college fairs, and other networking and speaking engagements.
    Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to,
  • Scheduling and conducting tours of the CLE sites,
  • Conducting parent/student interviews,
  • Maintaining contact to maximize customer satisfaction,
  • Tracking recruitment goals and progress, and
  • Maintaining a database of leads, resources, and referrals.

This position requires extensive travel. Outreach Coordinators are home-based positions; however, each coordinator will be responsible for a designated region, (South, Northeast, and Midwest), and will preferably be located within their region near one of our existing CLE sites in Colorado, Texas, Illinois, Maryland, and Florida.

Requirements:
This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (Master’s preferred) with 3-5 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Candidates must have excellent communication and public relation skills, in addition to being well organized. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience at the secondary, postsecondary, or special education level, as well as experience in outreach, marketing, and post secondary transition services. Direct experience working with families of students with special needs and training or experience in Applied Behavioral Analysis are preferred. Must be proficient in Microsoft applications, including CRM, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Extensive travel required.
