College Living Experience

College Living Experience

CLE is about access and support. College students who need assistance in maintaining the daily routine of college receive guidance through the entire registration process, comprehensive course orientation, evening and weekend study periods, content-specific tutoring, life skills development and internships.

While guidance is always nearby, we encourage our students to take charge of their lives to the fullest degree. Getting ready for class, taking responsibility for their studies, balancing social time with study time and working with exceptions to the regular schedule are important parts of any college experience.

CLE is here to help.

A tax deduction for medical expenses for the tuition paid to College Living Experience may be available. In accordance with IRS Regulations, a medical deduction is allowed for tuition costs when a school meets the definition of a “special school”. The school’s curriculum must include programs designed to prepare individuals with professionally diagnosed learning difficulties for future normal education and/or living. For many of our participants, College Living Experience will meet this definition as its primary goal is to assist students in earning a degree in college and with developing skills necessary for living independently in the community. Tax advisors should be consulted regarding the availability of this deduction.
