Focusing on individualized education, ESA Exceptional schools teach K-12 students based on their educational strengths and weaknesses and in their own learning styles.
ESA Exceptional schools are currently located throughout Florida and California and also in Colorado and Illinois.
A tax deduction for medical expenses for the tuition paid to ESA Exceptional Schools may be available. In accordance with IRS Regulations, a medical deduction is allowed for tuition costs when a school meets the definition of a special school. The school’s curriculum must include programs designed to prepare individuals with professionally diagnosed learning difficulties for future normal education and/or living. For many of our students, ESA Exceptional schools will meet this definition as its programs provide specialized education for students with professionally diagnosed learning difficulties. Because a portion or all of the tuition paid to ESA Exceptional schools may come from government-sponsored scholarships, only that portion of tuition in excess of government scholarship funding is available as a medical expense. Tax advisors should be consulted regarding the availability of this deduction.
