Why did you go into teaching?

I’ve always wanted to be a teacher and work with children and teenagers.

Why did you choose special education?

I feel I can make a difference in their lives. What happens in the classroom goes beyond academic goals – to help develop social skills and self esteem.

What keeps you motivated?

The children and my work environment. The people I work with motivate me.
