Mark Claypool is the founder and driving force behind Educational Services of America. A social worker by training, Mark brings almost two decades of experience in K-12 education, special and alternative education, learning disabilities, behavior disorders and residential treatment programs to his post as CEO. A native of Tennessee, Mark began his educational career by opening and managing a series of private schools that provided alternative educational services. Prior to launching ESA, he was responsible for opening or managing nearly 100 schools in the Mid-South. Mark is committed to the idea that all children can succeed if they are given the right academic environment and the tools to learn. Under his leadership, ESA has grown to be the largest provider of special and alternative education in the country in just seven years.
