Alvin Allgood brings nearly two decades of education experience to his position as EVP, where he is responsible for overseeing programs and services offered by each of ESA’s four branded divisions. Although his academic training is in business, Alvin’s heart is in education, and he has worked with children and their families for more than 20 years as a counselor, teacher and administrator. A native of Tennessee, he has worked closely with Mark Claypool throughout much of their professional careers. Alvin shares the ESA vision of becoming a national clearinghouse for information on children with special needs and the employer of choice in special education.
